Product description

Use the straight side of this double strip ruler to cut 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 inch strips – or use the pre-cuts that are on the market. Sew these strips together to create a 4-1/2 inch wide strip set. Turn-a-Round the ruler to cut five 60 degree triangles that finish 4 inches. Multiple layers can be cut at one time. The key holes in the ruler enable the rotary cutter to cut the angled sides without damaging the ruler. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts! It comes with fully illustrated step by step instructions or scan the QR Code printed on the ruler to view a video demonstration. Total Size - 7in x 17in

Handbook of Texas

The Handbook of Texas was the brainchild of past TSHA President Walter Prescott Webb, who boldly declared it would be “a reference to practically any topic on Texas history.” The initial Handbook was published as a two-volume set in 1952, with a supplemental volume published in 1976.

Today, the Handbook is entirely online and includes 27,429 encyclopedic entries on the influential people, eras, and events of Texas history. Its staff of editors continuously works to add and update entries to ensure its accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Celebrate the history of Texas every day by signing up for your free subscription to the Texas Day by Day e-newsletter. Each email tells a little bit more of the story of Texas and links to the Handbook of Texas. It's one of the best ways to learn more about Texas history — in only about 15 minutes a day!
